Occupational health
Over 2 million people suffer from work-related ill
health each year
With 2 million people suffering from an illness related to their
current or past work, and over 20,000 new cases each year severe
enough to be seen by specialist doctors - occupational health is
increasingly seen as a vital element of any organisation's business
planning.
The recent introduction of the Corporate Manslaughter and
Corporate Homicide Act presents a new offence, across the UK, for
prosecuting companies and other organisations where there has been
a gross failing, throughout the organisation, in the management of
health and safety with fatal consequences. This means
that today, more than ever, the physical, mental and social
well-being of workers is of paramount importance.
We have experience of working with occupational health
organisations to promote their services to businesses.
