Merchant Healthcare Marketing is shortlisted for CIPR PRide
Award 2009
Merchant Healthcare Marketing has been shortlisted
for a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Award
for a website it created for NHS City & Hackney, who
commissioned it on behalf of North East London HIV and Sexual
Health Network.
http://www.sho-me.nhs.uk/ was
developed by Merchant to increase awareness and educate the North
London population about sexual health, encouraging the local
community to make responsible choices and minimise sexual health
risk. It has been shortlisted in the best website or
microsite category for the Wessex region.
Commenting on the news, director of digital marketing at
Merchant Healthcare Marketing, Ben Sturt, said: "We are really
pleased to have made the shortlist, proof that our work is judged
to be among the best in the UK. When we launched SHO-me back
in November 2008 the website had over 6,000 unique visitors in the
first six weeks with a high level of enquiry forms being submitted
to the network's Sexual Health Consultant. It exceeded all
our client expectations and that makes us extremely
proud."
Ann Mealor, CIPR Acting Director General said:"This year more
than ever, consultancies and organisations entering the PRide
Awards want to spotlight their achievements while boosting morale -
and being a PRide finalist does just that. Having gone
through rigorous judging to reach the shortlist is a great
achievement and I offer my congratulations to all those who have
reached this stage of the competition."
